Clubfoot Or Congenital Ta..

What Is Clubfoot Or Congenital Talipes Equinovarus Or CTEV?

Clubfoot, also known as congenital talipes equinovarus (CTEV), is a condition that babies are born with. It involves a stiff deformity in the foot and ankle. The foot is positioned in a way where the toes point downward (ankle equinus), the heel tilts inward (heel varus), and the midfoot and forefoot turn inward and upward. Additionally, the midfoot may have an extra upward curve, known as cavus, and the calf muscles are often underdeveloped.
